Yes, many consultants are working away on it, direct contact with VMware
engineers as well.  Introduce heavy load and you might as well be rolling
dice rather than look at the clock (skew up of over 2 minutes within 60
"virtual" seconds).

I am not responsible for VMware hosting environment, only Linux
instances within it.  I expect that all optimizations have been done to
the environment that can be considering that this issue has been ongoing
for 6 months.

The latest showcase machine is a 4-way Xeon with 32GB RAM, I don't have
detailed specs.  I've also done some tests on the side using HP DL380
(dual Xeon, 4 GB RAM).
